Sometimes you need something to inspire and boils work...
It was just that somehow turned the TV on (watching German television, as the professional command of the language) and saw a documentary about a girl named Kerstin Dobelstein (Kerstin Doppelstein) and that all year round one is tending a huge flock of sheep in the suburbs of Leipzig. The doll is sewn from sheepskins. Inserted inside a musical instrument to which is attached a little lamb. To listen to music - take in one hand a little lamb and stick the cowherd boy with the other hand and pull a little lamb the whole length of the cord - will play the tune of "Sleep baby sleep". Neck little lamb has frame wire - You can change the direction of the head. The other two lambs also have the frame neck so their heads can be turned.
The body of the sheep, legs and face made from wool, detail made by dry felting. Additionally, all stitched and pinned thread - the wool will not fall off ))
The body of the cowherd boys filled with sheep's wool. Legs and arms - made of wool (wet-felting). Fingers stitched cotton cord. Arms and legs rotate. On the head - cap of the felt is removed. hair made of wool. The scarf is crocheted of mohair, balls of wool.
The herd's face made in the technique of "painting on felt" - an imitation of the face of porcelain doll. Myself )). Maybe this is already there - don't know.
I imagine this shepherdess and sheep in a Christmas (or new year) interior. I think it will easily replace the traditional Santa Claus under the tree!

How to keep: is dry cleaning. In case of stains - the stain wet with warm water, handle washing tool for wool - gently rubbing, rinse with water, squeeze in a towel and leave to dry. The toy not to drop! Not entirely wet inside musical mechanism.
